I have been shopping at the Century City Mall for as long as I can remember and I always make it a point to stop into Charles David. I guess I hadn’t been there for a few months because I did a double take to see that it had been taken over by Chinese Laundry. At first I was pretty bummed out, but then I realized they had a really big selection with some great reasonably priced shoes.
I had been looking for new black ankle boots and I fell in love with this pair. They seemed pretty comfortable in the store, but not so much when I put them on and walked a block away from my house to shoot these photos. I really hope to break them in because I think they will go with everything. I also picked out a few more pairs of shoes for spring that I want to go back for, so I am hoping these will end up being comfy.
I’ve paired them here with my new plaid jeans, a really old sweater and my Dior bag that I was able to steal back from Molly.
