Happy Tuesday!   How is your week going?  I have been pouring all over the internet, Facebook and Instagram admiring all of the exciting and glamorous photos from New York Fashion Week and wishing I was there too.  Luckily I don’t have that much time to mope though, as I am preparing for an exciting trip of my own:  A much needed holiday with Mr. Pretty Little Shopper to London and Scotland.

There are so many things I am excited about on my upcoming trip, but one of them is that the weather will be a little cooler than it is in Manhattan Beach, and I will finally get to wear something other than shorts!  Meanwhile, I have been living in this floral kimono romper from ASOS and these darling pink pumps I purchased from a site I recently discovered called Fatal Obsessions.  I have mentioned before how much I love ASOS, and after having such a great experience shopping on Fatal Obsessions they are definitely on my list of go to sites for shoes.  They carry a few brands that I really love, plus they have been really great about sending sale offers that are too good to pass up.  I hope you like these pumps because I suspect they will be showing up on this blog quite a lot in the future.

How is your week going so far?  It is still soooo hot in Los Angeles so I have been living in shorts.  Although, as you can see by my Casper legs, I still never manage to get a tan.  I spent a couple of summers getting spray tans, but after awhile I tired of the maintenance and the smell.  So here I am, bright colored top and my legs blending into the pavement.

Happy Monday!  It is exceptionally warm and dry this year in Southern California and this is one of my favorite dresses for summer.  Not only is the style cute and fun, but the cotton fabric makes a big difference in staying cool.  I paired it with this adorable new hat I purchased at a Kiosk at The Grove in Los Angeles.  I was so excited to find it, because I had originally had my eye on a similar hat that was five times the price.

I hope you are having a wonderful week so far and thank you so much for reading!

Girls from Savoy dress.  Chanel bag.  Pour La Victoire pumps.  Straw hat with black ribbon (similar here and here.  Also really love this style as well). BCBG bangle.  Versace glasses.

I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!  I haven’t posted in the last week and a half, because I have been going through a major update to my site.  I am so happy that it is almost up to date thanks to my friend Jamie who has been tirelessly sorting out all of my tech issues.  What do you think of my new template?

Now, about this outfit… matching separates are absolutely my favorite trend right now.  I think there is something a bit nostalgic about it for me, as I had a few matching outfits that I really loved when I was a kid.  I was so thrilled to find these two pieces on ASOS, which is becoming one of my favorite shopping sites.  These two pieces were sold separately, so I ordered them right away.  I’ve noticed with this trend that if you wait to long to decide on your order, it can be really hard to find two pieces that match that are available in your size.

Have a wonderful week and thank you for reading!
