Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty relaxing starting off with a really sweaty yoga class on Saturday morning and a romantic dinner date. On Sunday we made our way to The Paley Center for Media to catch the Artistry of Outlander Exhibit. By catch, I mean we waited till the absolute last hour of the exhibit… it closed at 5 pm and we got there at 4! It was the final day of the show and I am so glad we made it. It was truly incredible to see the detailed designs of costumer Terry Dressbach, up close and personal! Mister Pretty Little Shopper and I, are big fans of the show and had also just had the opportunity to hear Ms. Dresbach speak at Comic Con a few weeks earlier. We were awed by the level of research, artistry and planning that she and her team put into each and every garment! You can read more about Ms. Dresbach and her work on her blog here.
And speaking of details, how beautiful is this Rose Embroidered Dress? This dress definitely makes me want to spin around a few times with it’s twirl worthy skirt! The lightweight cotton fabric is perfect for a long Summer day-to-night look. A perfect look for a family brunch, lunch with the girls or a Summer date night. And doesn’t everything about this dress just make you feel like you are on an exotic island vacation?
