Louis Vuitton Series 2

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend the Louis Vuitton Series 2 Exhibit in Hollywood and I wanted to share with you some amazing photos that Amina took while we were there.  While I had seen some photos posted by other LA bloggers, I must admit that nothing could prepare me for the awe of encountering the event in person.  Part multi-media, part fashion and part performance-art (albeit the audio-visual kind), the event was an exercise in fashion-theatre that I could not have possibly dreamed.  One room had a video feed of three different craftsmen/women working on bags in live time…. I whispered to Amina “now I see why my bags are so expensive!”  I came away with a new appreciation for the craftsmanship, inspiration and artistry that is couture!

While the event has ended in Los Angles, I am told it will be touring to Beijing.  If you happen to be there I would highly recommend checking it out!
