Leather and Lace

Happy President’s Day!  I hope you’re week is getting off to a great start!

These photos were taken right before Amina and I went to Salt’s Cure, and I wanted to share with you the full details of my outfit.  This top is my first piece from The Kooples.  I really love the Paris-based line and I am so glad they have now opened stores in the US.  I had been coveting this blouse for awhile and I was so excited when Mr. Pretty Little Shopper surprised me with it for Xmas.  I  have to admit I originally thought this top would go with everything, but it is actually quite ornate so it works best with a bottom that isn’t too competing.  I ended up pairing it with this striped skirt and a leather bag and shoes to match the leather collar.
