Happy Sunday! How was your holiday weekend? In between cooking, grocery shopping and taking care of a house full of guests, I have been online shopping since Cyber Wednesday, taking advantage of all the great deals and trying to get some holiday shopping done. I spent Friday online and then Saturday Mr. Pretty Little Shopper and I headed out to The Grove to pop into a few stores, before a delicious dinner at Blue Ribbon Sushi (one of our favorites and a nice break from turkey) and seeing the final Hunger Games movie. I left the theatre pretty devastated… the movie was amazing, but I just can’t believe the series has come to an end!!! 🙁

Amina and I took these photos a few weeks ago when I was having pretty much the worst hair day ever! The air was still so humid and I pretty much had a non-stop fro for weeks. I know it works for some people, but let’s just face it, I’m not one of them. I ended up remembering that I had purchased an anti-frizz spray and used it the following day when we shot these photos before our spa day. Can you believe the difference with just this product (I didn’t even wash and condition) and a curling iron?

As for this floral maxi dress, I purchased it a few years ago, but it is certainly back on trend. I styled it with a leather belt and booties since we were exploring the gorgeous Ballona Wetlands in Playa Del Rey. Amina and I had quite an adventure trespassing through the swampy area, although it’s quite dry and crunchy with our long standing California drought. I drive by this area almost every day on my way home and I think Amina’s photos have captured a glimpse of it’s beauty at Sunset. The blue building is a Bed and Breakfast in case you ever want to visit!
