Black Out: 2018 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Favorites

Happy Monday! Last night marked a historic “black out” on the 2018 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet. Nearly every female nominee, presenter and attendee wore black in sartorial support of the Time’s Up movement, to support women who have less access to media platforms and funds to speak up about sexual harassment. Many of the actors also brought gender and racial activists as their guests to the Awards in an effort to shift the focus back on survivors and solutions, and away from perpetrators of sexual misconduct.

While I’m normally not a big fan of political statement’s on the Red Carpet, I must say I was blown away by how tastefully and appropriately the evening played out. I also couldn’t believe how all of these brave and gorgeous women rocked their black gowns. It was harder than ever to narrow down my favorite looks and I certainly had to leave a few off as this post started to get way too long.

Yes, Federica! It was so hard to choose my favorites as everyone really killed it in their gorgeous black gowns.
