A Visit to Dunrobin Castle with Sole Serum

Happy Monday everyone!  I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I returned from my trip to the UK!  I wanted to share with you one last batch of photos from my trip, which were taken at the gorgeous Dunrobin Castle on the East Coast of the Northern Highlands, which overlooks the Moray Firth.

While I have visited many castles at this point (traveling with Mr. Pretty Little Shopper often resembles an AP European History Tour), this one stood out for it’s incredible beauty, as it quite remarkably resembles something out of a fairy tale.  It was originally built in the early 1300’s and resembles a French Chateau, which makes it quite unique for a Scottish castle.  It was used as a naval hospital during World War I and as a boys boarding school from 1965 to 1972.

The castle features 189 rooms, although they don’t let you tour all of them of course.  Luckily I had just received a product called Sole Serum before my trip and after days of walking around Europe, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to take it for a test run.  Sole Serum was developed by chemists to target foot pain in less than 10 minutes!  The product is made with lavender, peppermint and tea tree oils and the active ingredient Lidocaine, which blocks foot pain and also reduces inflammation.  Simply apply the serum to sore feet, give yourself a little foot massage and let it dry for a minute before putting on your shoes.  It comes in a tiny tube so it can easily fit in a small handbag and reapplied in a restroom.

The product works for about 2 hours (which was just long enough to tour this castle) and can be reapplied up to 4 times in a day.  I’ve used it several times now with great results… most recently at a rather long fashion show where I was one of the only girls not limping around at the end of the event.

This gorgeous and grumpy cat sat up just long enough to let us take his photo before promptly returning to his nap.  Clearly he was in no mood to entertain tourists.

They don’t allow photography inside the castle, but I was able to snap this one from the inside looking out… it reminds me of Sweeny Todd!

Back to nap time for the cat… maybe I should lend him my Sole Serum.
